I haven't tried the Math package of OO 3.0 but the OO 2.4 is useable but 
has some annoying flaws.

I still think that Lyx has a better math engine and interface and then 
TeX/LaTeX should be even better but

I am nowdays supposed to be using OO 2.4 at work... amazed they decided 
on it, but I think it is a good decision.
