On the other side - I've been in front of one or the other for about  
10 years now, and am glad we've almost gone all whiteboard. I could  
never stand getting the chalk on my hands, didn't like the way the  
chalk felt, and hated hated hated inhaling the dust.

I do understand the running-out-of-marker problem - I've taken to  
carrying a few dry erase markers with me.

My dislike of the chalkboard has nothing to do with me liking to sniff  
the dry erase markers or anything. ;)

Different strokes for different folks, though - go with what makes YOU  
happy. :)
