[sdiy] Alpha Sliders (Making slots for sliders)

Thanks for pointing that out Matthias -- that sounds bizarre -- and it 
doesn't help that there isn't a datasheet on the f'lec site.
I'd not actually tried the sliders out myself yet so grabbed a 
multimeter and did some quick-tests.

They don't appear to be log but they also don't seem to be quite linear.
I did a quick measurement moving the stick 3mm at a time (30mm total 
travel), measuring the resistance -- came out as a slightly wobbly 
linear and a little bit offset.
I also tested the overall resistance on a couple of different sliders 
and there was one (100kB) measuring more like 80k.

I'll try to get together a test circuit to actually play with them shortly.
