[sdiy] OT: how to save a dead Raided Drive?

hmmm...so maybe i should try to see if it is JBOD
as of now I dont have the money for anything other than buying an IDE to USB enclosure
i really wish i could find a place to buy a replacement CONTROLLER CARD but Lacie has NOT been helpful
