Why do we assume it is RAID 0? If it is RAID 1 (mirrored)
then both drives have the same data; however, if that were
the case your RAID controller should still allow you to
access the data (assuming the controller is healthy).
If it makes you feel any better, I recently lost 3 drives
in a RAID 5 due to a power glitch in spite of having the
array connected to a UPS which was connected to a surge
protector. I have a hunch it is the port multiplier (PM)
that failed. I have a hard time believing 3 drives on one
PM failed due to the surge and the 3 drives on the other
PM were unharmed.
