Hi All,

I am considering ordering a load of Joysticks from a Asian
manufacturer but they are a bit costly for me
to go it alone.

The style I am after are the same as RKJXC1210 in the following data sheet.
http://www.elfa.se/pdf/64/06413538.pdf

These are I think the same type as Wiard uses and that I have sourced
surplus in the past but which are no longer available from MECI.

They would come with a handle (not the aluminium style that was
formerly available from MECI)
but a black plastic job that looks a little more gamer oriented but
still serviceable.
I can get more info on this if required.

The cost per unit I was quoted is $7.50 each which includes 10K
linear resistance (0-10K), handle, mounting ring
and shipping from China. I think this is a bit expensive when you
consider the cost of total components involved
and that this is approx. a weeks wages in a Guangdong pot factory but
I don't know how else to get it done.
If anyone else knows of a cheaper source let me know.

I would prefer to break up the order into lots of 100 which may
appeal more to other commercial builders than to DIYers. I don't want to become
a component dealer just want to lower capital costs and avoid a lot
of shipping.

Let me know if any of you are interested and we can go from there.

Thanks
Bruce Duncan
