[sdiy] New digital synthesis projects under way

Thanks Tom.

I'd recommend getting some experience with SMD and this board would
probably be fine for a beginner - the ICs are all fairly coarse 50mil
pitch and the main difficulty would probably be the 0603 caps. Once
you've got a fine-tip iron, some good tweezers and a magnifying
glass/light you'll be most of the way there.

One other caveat - I'm using SMD electrolytics for the first time on
this board. I snagged the footprints from John Luciani's site and
tweaked the pads to extend out beyond the edge of the plastic carrier in
order to make hand soldering a bit easier. Hopefully that will work out
OK - If not I may spin the layout.
