Hi Dan.

I have the Polyphony magazine with the article
you heard about. The article is for building a 8 bits digital delay
from gates, static ram and some logics..
I think this could be a good starting point for you.
If you want the article I can scan it and email it to you free.
In 1990, reading this article gave me all the important
info to build my own 12 bits digital delay/sampler I still use.
But this one was made around a venerable Z80 cpu and led displays.
