one notable woman in synth electronics engineering would be Jessica Rylan.
I don't know how many noise heads there are on SDIY, but the Flower
Electronics company (google) makes a patchable noise synth, Little Boy
Blue; the company is woman owned, Jessica Rylan, a talented synth
designer and perhaps better known as a widely acclaimed experimental
and noise musician.
I was in contact with Rylan regarding whether LBB was available as pcb
or kit, sadly it is not, though she will later on be offering some DIY
kits.
I find her stuff less ladder filter/CV to MIDI and much more feedback
patching, so I don't know what sort of crossover there is on this
list, but recommended if you are into that kind of thing!
