Hi Mike,

If you use Nylon washers, similar to Molex Plastic connectors, they can be
dyed using RIT dye for clothes. This is how we dyed plastic Molex at
Oberheim for the SEM1-A Molex connectors. Otherwise keep looking for color
coded Mounting collars. Hard to find but I have seen them.
