I did some reading of this a couple of weeks ago - apparently you can
press the CTRL key while dragging to force the current object(s) to snap
to the current grid. However, it doesn't seem to work for me (but I am
using the Mac version, so it might be a different key).

The way I do it is select the group of objects, use the cut tool (I
agree it's the wrong name), and right-click. Select "Cut group". I've
not needed to use the traffic light; I immediately go into the paste (or
bring up another schematic if I'm copying between them and then go into
paste).

I've not had any problems with schematic open at the same time though -
what happens?
