If you're running Eagle v.5 (may be a bit different for v.4 - not sure...)
Right click a component (gives a menu) and select 'Properties' at the
bottom of the list.
You can then alter the coordinates manually.
There may be another way too... but this may be easiest for just a few
movements of the pots.
For copy/paste --> you need 1st to define a 'Group', then click 'Cut'
(actually copy!?!) and hit the GO traffic light near the top of the screen.
From there you can then use the Paste function.
(note, though, that you can't do this with the schematic open at the
same time! one of the quirks...)
Hope that is some help in the quagmire of Eagle (I like it though)
