Hi,
The SSM2164 is a great VCA chip and cheap too...
I built a dual VCA with expo/linear modes...
I also added a level LED driver, as I like to see the volume coming out.
The design fits on a 80x100mm PCB

The panel is interim and will get replaced with a Schaeffer one soon.
The CV reponse is set to 0 to +5V, so larger voltages are simply potted down
by the CV control pot.

Regards
Rob

I've been looking at the datasheet for the SSM2164 Low-Cost Quad VCA (which
I just bought a pile of in the form of CoolAudio V2164D clones), and I'm
thinking about building a -- (wait for it) -- quad VCA!
