[sdiy] Simple (?) sequencer mod for syncopation

I was looking at a picture of the old Korg SQ-10 Analog Sequencer today (in
a book by a guy named, simply, "Devarahi" (!), and I notice that it has a
knob for pulse width, although I don't know what this actually does for the
sequencer.  Does anyone have any experience with this unit?  Does this
function do more or less what I was prattling on about the other day (when I
started this thread)?
