I order them online from several places, I also purchase them locally from
several walk-in stores here in the Bay area and I feel the need to point out
that the US *isn't even metric*.  You wont find them at your local equiv of
Ace Hardware, but any good fastener shoppe should have screws starting at
2mm.

Look harder.  If you have a local fastener shoppe you deal with, ask them to
get them in for you.  Or just order online, probably cheaper then the gas to
get to the local shoppe anyway.
