Just checked LTSpice Version 4.01. It uses the two cores of my two core
system up to 100%. Seems like they did a very good job with multithreading.

Now it would be interesting to run a long simulation supervised by Intel
VTune or AMD CodeAnalyst and take a look at the code where LTSpice
spends most if it's time. Unfortunately I don't have a license anymore. :-(
