[sdiy] small ,higher than 8 input multiplexers?

Dan,

I'm using the 4067 for my octave-matrix keyboard circuit, and for the
16-channel MFOS sequencer I'm building.  My local shop sells 0.6" wide,
24-pin machined-pin sockets for $1.30 CDN.  I always use machined sockets
(they look nice and are very durable).  I don't know of a smaller-footprint
16-channel mux-demux, but I haven't really looked that hard, either.
