OW!  no joke.  One day years ago, I was working at the University of Chicago as a DEC field
engineer (medical computation devices).  I had finished my work at about 3:00 AM (and VERY
SLEEPY) and needed to sit down to fill out some paperwork.  My toolcase was a waiting
"stool", but I hadn't unplugged my soldering iron which was on top of the toolcase.  DAMN
THAT'S HOT I said as I sat on the HOT IRON.  I burned the back of my right thigh, through
polyester pants...  The U of C was kind enough to let me wear a white lab coat home because
the pant leg was utterly destroyed and I looked like an idiot...  (I did fix the computer
though)

Ok, you can all stop laughing now.
