The larger question asked here is about birthdays (btw my daughter had hers yesterday)

Maybe I can find a better one. OK. Here is a REALLY good graph of the distribution of birthdays
using almost 1/2 million US citizens as sample. You can get the underlying data too.

You can see there is a surfeit of birthdays from the start of July to
the first week of October.
