thanks to all the kind souls (there were quite a few!) that have answered my question for now I've used a UA741 from ST that i had lying around and i can report that, although it needs some more tweaking, the filter seems to be working. i will report again when the whole project will have reached a more presentable stage :) all the best from here aero
