Ken Stone's wavetable uses a 741 on the summing amp out - the low slew helps smooth the 8-bit output.

The MXR Distortion+ uses a 741 as well - again, the limited slew helps makes for the whole 'classic' sound. Other older pedals are liable to use them too, if only because that was what was available then, less any for an intended effect.

Again though, these are rare (eh, maybe just 'infrequent' when it comes to old school FX), esoteric cases.
