I've got a few of these that I use for resistors and capacitors:

sku=1447379&_requestid=517037
With two values per compartment, I've got all the resistors from 100R
to 1M in two boxes. For capacitors, I separate by type
(electrolytics, ceramics, polyester, etc) and have a box for each
type. The lids clip down so nothing can fall out or get in the wrong
compartment when it's shut.
I was looking for something that had either 6 or 12 compartments in
each row, since that makes things neat with an E24/E48/E96 series.
I also use these (this type of thing, not this exact model) for IC
storage:

CatIds=21412,21430,21434&name=UK_SK_Han+Desktop+Drawer+Sets
I bought one with six shallow drawers, and then got some anti-static
foam from RS and cut it into A4 sizes for the bottom of each drawer.
Now I've got a drawer for each type of IC (Processors, Logic, Analog,
etc) and you can easily see everything in the drawer.
