[sdiy] Tolerances for front panels

Ditto to Kevin.

Although I don't churn out panels in huge numbers, the 6 or 7 I have done
have worked fine along the other modules I've built that came with panels
just using the standard dimensions and a tolerance of +/- 0.01 inch. There
is usually enough slop in the screw holes in adjacent panels to allow one to
fit everything together.

The Doepfer site has great information on the dimensions they use for their
Eurorack panels. They reduce the panel width by 0.1 mm to 0.3 mm depending
on the exact HP. 1HP = 1/5 inch or about 5.08 mm

The chart is here:

http://www.doepfer.de/a100_man/a100m_e.htm

You could always call out a tolerance of [panel width] inches + 0.00 / -
0.01 inch. Whoever does your panels should be able to deal with that just
fine.
