I shoulda spent the time digging on Digikey before I bothered the list.
Looks like Mouser was just a Fail.  Even Jameco has these parts if you dig
into their Web-Only (nonstock) parts.

Thanks for all the replies!  I'm going to lay out the board using 20pin
dual-row headers as they are stock items from at least 2 places and just use
the pins in pairs.
