[sdiy] Connecting two boards

I figured this problem would be easier to solve then it is.

I'm trying to make a generic board that I can put backends on. I figured I'd
just put a .100" right angle SIP header down the back edge, then the backend
board could plug in with a matching right angle SIP socket.

Then I tried to find them... Fail. In fact, I cant find right angle DIP
female from Mouser. I can only find -1- part and thats from Jameco ( 71159 ).

I dont want to go card-edge connectors. Going with a connector with stacked
offset pin spacing wont work as I want to stay on .100" centers as one goal
is to be able to plug stripboard onto this. Every company seems to have
some flavor of connector that doesn't match anyone else but would do the job
perhaps.

What are some ideas on edge to edge connecting PCboards? Preferrably
multi-vendor readily available methods.

Oh, one point to make is I don't care about physical stability of the
connector. Electrical only, physical to be dealt with other ways.
