[sdiy] Tapped Pots?

I have couple of centre-tapped Alpha's that have a "dead" point at the  
center tap;
same material as the outer points, splitting the resistance track in  
two.

I haven't used any of them yet, but my guess is that the usual way of  
connecting
them is to +/-Vcc with the centre tap going to ground.  That will give  
you an
accurate 0V at the centre point.
