1/4" long frame plugs and jacks should not be considered interchangable with
the commonly available instrument/headphone 1/4" plugs and jacks.
I'd really like to see adoption of Bantam/TT cables and jacks with modular
synths. Roughly twice the density of 1/4" jacks but far more robust than
3.5mm parts.
