this is all very good information.

my studio is the sort of place that's going to get totally renovated  
in a couple years (100+ year old storefront with 100+ years of crap  
work done in it) so i just write on the wall when i want to explain  
to a guest what an ADSR is or what the pads of a DrumKat look like.

i'm going to have to get one of these very nice chalkboards when the  
renovation finally comes. in the mean-time i'm going to stick to  
sharpies and wallpaper.
