Hey Paul,

What about a simple pattern chain mode?  Eg when you have the pairs of buttons lit in load mode, and you can tap each pair to load 
the pattern, why not have it like the roland tr-606, where tapping one button loads the sequence, but holding one and tapping 
another cycles all the patterns between the held button and the tapped one. (im explaing just in case you havent used a 606 for a 
while!)

And, as for size - the current size is perfect, i think.  Small enough to fit behiind eurocard front pannels.  Ideal, i think.
