Florian, thanks for the photos. Yes, there is a problem there. It seems 
a lot of these newer compact and cheaper jack sockets aren't quite so 
good as the old style ones.

Graham, it was I who suggested the 112APC, and not Florian. I was 
pointing out that there are some excellent sockets made by Switchcraft 
that when put into products can become problematic if not done properly.

But these new fangled low profile plastic things are a different thing 
entirely. I too have had problems with certain jacks types ripping out 
the tip lug on A&H desks when the jack is pulled out.
