[sdiy] Which 1/4" Jack?

> Opinion pole time. Now that I have gone to the 1/4" side the next question is: which 1/4" jack to use? I would like panel mount, solder lugs and metal bushing, and not too expensive. The early front runner is Switchcraft 11 series.
I recently bought a Speck Xtramix and had serious trouble with its 
Switchcraft sockets.
There are some jack forms, which do not open the switch of the pin 
contact. Since the switchcontact is connected to ground the input was 
shortened. I made pictures of those jacks and the sockets, but they not 
yet online.
