[sdiy] first oscilloscope help

Hello Veronica

all these PC based software scopes using the PC's audio-in lack one 
major feature: they cannot show dc voltages and dc offsets of audio 
signals. I use every now and then visual analyser (which Samppa 
recommended). It is not bad, but it never can replace a true scope, if 
you want to adjust synth modules.

I never looked for, but I am sure there are dc coupled a/d-cards. But 
this will get assumingly expensive again.
