Digi-Key shows 3 devices which are (a) CMOS, (b) in production,
and (c) DIP. They're all made by IDT....
IDT6116LA45TPG (IC RAM 16K CMOS 45NS LP 24-DIP) -- that's 2k x 8
IDT71256SA20TPG (IC RAM 256K CMOS 20NS 28-PDIP) -- 32k x 8
IDT71256SA25TPG (IC RAM 256K CMOS 25NS 28-DPIP) -- also 32k x 8
The larger devices are appreciably cheaper ($3.30 vs $5.35).
I've never had any complaints with IDT, fwiw.
