[sdiy] To 1/4" or not to 1/4"

Hi all,

I have decided to abandon RCA jacks and go with 1/4" My question is: 1/4" for CV and triggers as well? If so, how does one handle the unipolar/bipolar issue? That is, a VCA needs 0-10V but your VCO puts out +/-10V. How do you make that work? I assume V-Triggers are used with 3 volt thresholds. Is there a standard?
