Also check out the pinout of your library parts, especially mechanical  
components and more weird ICs or processors. Don't trust any component  
except those you've made yourself. Also I like to check the individual  
nets by using SHOW in eagle, or by going through every single net in  
the schematic editor and showing them on the PCB, to make sure nothing  
weird happened (for example copy pasting or using different power nets  
on the same board can quickly result in nets being connected which  
shouldn't).
