As one of the other math-challenged people who rushed out and bought
this book when it was discussed, I'm not keen to get up to speed just so
I can understand the book. Indeed, with a little external assistance, I
think that the K&K book will actually help in this process since it
discusses computing/engineering concepts with which I am already vaguely
familiar (although my computing expertise is very much digital.)

Please keep us posted with any good stuff that you find. Looks like
there are a few of us who would like to get up to speed.
Funny really, my brother has a maths degree. Although my maths is fine
up to high-school physics level (that's 'O' level, not 'A' level,) last
time I saw him, my basic mental arithmetic appeared to be somewhat
better than his. I guess it's the difference between real-world maths
and maths for the sake of maths.
Cheers
M
