No, it wouldn't. But it would have memories, patch morphing and  
randomisation, you'd be able to play it from a MIDI sequencer, it  
wouldn't take three days to recreate a patch, and future maintenance  
costs would be zero.

And if you wanted ten of them, you could have ten of them.

For something like this, I suspect the real reasons are consumer  
status-symbol posturing and nostalgia.
