the 100 had HPFs and voltage-controlled multi-function trapezoids the  
VCS3 did not. there are many other differences and enhancements.

there are a lot of sounds you can make on a 100 which you can't make  
on an A/VCS3

wether those sounds are worth that much ... well i have no idea.  
personally, things like this make me wish i could afford them, or at  
least give me the strength to do some power haggling.
