[sdiy] Looking for MPC60 users

Hello synth-diy list

I've been a reader for many years but rarely post.

I recently had some misfortune with my akai mpc60. I bought the 3.10 OS
(used, not from the linn-man himself) and i never got it to work. This
week i took the chips and the mpc to an experienced tech (i merely dabble
with electronics) for help. He said the chips checked out ok but we
could'nt get them to work.

Is there anyone on this list with an mpc60 with os 3.10 who i can ask some
tedious questions ? I want to know stuff like markings on the chips, in
which order they are placed etc. i know of the installation manual on
Linn's site but there are some things i would really like to look up
before i have to realize that i have spent money totally in vain.
