[sdiy] getting started with a PCB/schem application

Sorry if I'm jumping in late, but if the problem is to get more than one 
board on a printed sheet, why not convert the PS to hi res GIF in 
Photoshop/GIMP/etc and copy/paste onto A4 size layout there? I do this 
and it seems to work fine. You can render back to PDF/PS with minimal 
loss if you rasterize the PS with 300 dpi. One thinig you might want to 
do at the last stage is hold up one your ICs to the printed page and 
make sure the pins still line up with the tracks in the layout, just to 
be sure.
