 I think you are right, it look like a symetrical RLC network, builded with this
technology  for accuracy and stability and to filter the audio transformer
/preamp stage...Just i am surprised to find this advanced technology into an
early 70's gear/part !

The mixer circuit is much more locical to understand viewed like this, for sure!
