For Mac I can recommend Eagle. Ok, it has its quirks, but so does
every schematic and PCB package out there.

In Eagle, open a new schematic, then Edit->Add, then open the
"linear" library, scroll down to "TL072", open that and select either
DIP8 or SO8 package variant. Then click OK and place it where you
want. Don't forget to invoke the power pins as well (right-click on
the TL072 and select the PWR part).
