[sdiy] Multi-section cap in old tube gear

a friend of mine picked up a WOBBULATOR (lucky schmuck: http://electro-music.com/forum/post-209234.html). there's a lot of hum and he's suspecting a multisection cap marked as follows:
sprauge
40-450 dc
30-450 (square symbol)
10-450 (triangle symbol)
20-25
can com. neg
d13771 125
i don't have a lot ov experience w/ tubes, but my understanding is that the terminals should have some symbols next to 'em to help key out which is which value? but he's not finding the symbols. any advice on what to try next? i'm thinking the uf values may not be critical, and he could maybe just average the difference and use 30uf for all 4 and see how it goes... but obviously he doesnt wanna screw something up.
