I've been soldering with lead-free solder for a while by now and I
must say, I can't tell the difference to leaded solder. I even use
the same temperature, 350°C. I do use the tips from Weller which are
made for lead-free solder though, and I don't use the wet sponge
anymore.
This is solder with an amount of silver in it. If anyone's
interested, I can look up the brand.
The biggest difference to leaded solder is the price...
