I like it. Highly useful... for other purposes...

Trouble is that it the aspect ratio is the wrong direction and that it 
might not be giving the right vibe on the more professional style of 
LinkedIn.

Aspect ratio... think:

I am consider something like a PCB-layout styled

  D. I. Y.

Can become a fairly small icon while conveying the text and carry the 
style to some degree. A blownup version could convey more nerdy details 
if needed.

The Jolly DIYer could possibly be fit to the left side for such 
purposes, such as a flag over the tent or so... :)

Does all this make sense?
