Dear Desperate Techs List,

Can I assume this is only a weird failure mode for the CPU (uC, whatever):

Looks like thing works as it should apart from pattern length
selection. When doing that, buttons 8-16 repeat function of the
buttons 1-8. Pressing BAR does it thang and doesn't mess the scanning.
