I replaced the LCD in my Korg Wavestation A/D with a new LED backlit version: http://www.tellun.com/wavestation/wavestation.html I know there are places that offer EL backlight replacements, but I didn't want to go that route. Plus I was able to eliminate that annoying whine from the inverter circuit. I thought somebody else might benefit from this info.
