And as the frequency goes up, the worse it gets.  Don't use these for 
high-frequency switching power supplies unless you are into 
unpredictable systems.

Stripboard (Veroboard) can be just as bad with all those nice, long, 
parallel tracks.

Although I've done far more on paper than I have built things of late, 
recent prototypes have all been quick'n'dirty PCBs.  A couple of weeks 
ago, I actually started putting something together on an SBB for the 
first time in years but managed to simplify the system* down to a single 
microcontroller, which will be prototyped on a PCB.
