> I received my Tonecore dev kit. Of course, it didn't work. I had to tear it apart (darn...) and fix it. Luckily it was a simple issue: Hi, The FX on/off switch is a free floating dome under a plastic case, and it had 3 domes inserted into it. After removing 2 domes and snapping the switch cover back on, it worked.
Iirc, a typical tonecore dock has two domes, so it's probably a goof.
Speaking of the docks, mine came in, too...
Are there books on DSP that are de facto reading? I can hack some mean
assembly and my maths are good, but I've never worked with audio signals
before. I know all the typical stuff about digital audio
bits/nyquist/etc, but not processing algorithms.
If it helps to know what I have in mind in order to suggest a good book,
I think I would like to make a Karplus Strong thing at first. I get that
it is a filter and delay line and that delay is something like a
circular buffer, but I'd like to see some authors' ideas on filtering in
DSP land, etc.
thanks,
Mark
