While we don't have a x0xb0x in our rig (yet), we have all sorts of
professional midi-gear including computers, midi-distros, etc...
Depending on which unit we pick as the master clock, we get different
timing on all the gear. Some midi outputs to the tenth bpm (100.4)
while many others only resolve to the whole number.
I wouldn't be surprised if your setup were wired differently, you'd
get different outcomes.
Personally, I think you're demanding too much from a sloppy midi spec
and implementation.
